Why I built Winners Edge
I built it because the help I needed at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday did not exist. The counselors were closed. The church was well-meaning but visible — and visibility felt like exposure. The rehab cost more than my car. The rooms were full of people I did not want to know me, and the people I did want to know me did not want to know I was going.
