On the morning of Day 8, an email arrives with the question you actually need to answer: do you want this to continue? The email names the price ($49/month for Prevention, or $49/month for Treatment & Recovery — your choice), names the cancellation deadline, and gives you one button. Confirm or don't confirm. That is the entire decision.
What "confirm" does
One click. Your card is charged $49. Your membership rolls forward to the Prevention or Treatment & Recovery tier. You keep every part of the trial — AI Friend, daily study, trackers, member card — and the 50-message cap lifts so you can talk to the AI Friend as much as you need.
What "don't confirm" does
Nothing. No card is stored. No charge happens. Your trial account closes cleanly; your messages are kept; we never auto-bill a person who never said yes. If you want to come back in six months and start over, you can — same one-dollar entry.
